William has been actively searching for better ways to honour the Æsir since the late nineties (1998 or 1999, no one really knows for sure).

Though he was born in Alberta, and raised in Manitoba, he chose to set down roots in the small town of Qu’Appelle, just east of Regina, Saskatchewan, with his wife Jennee. He made Qu’Appelle his home, actively engaging in the community and helped found Three Ravens Kindred in 2014. He had the privilege to serve as the kindred’s Gothi from 2014 until 2018 and its Lawspeaker from 2015 until 2020. Since 2020, William has had the good fortune to practice with, and learn from, the members of Vetrarblað Kindred, based in Winnipeg Manitoba.

In his free time, you can find William outside, hunting, fishing, hiking, and canoeing in Saskatchewan’s beautiful outdoors. He’ll either be leading some of the community’s youth in his role as a volunteer with the local Scout troop, or be accompanied by his trusty companion, Mac the Pup.
